Terms of Service
Introduction
Thank you so much for your interest! Before anything, please read my Terms of Service.
By commissioning me you are agreeing to the terms outlined below. Terms are subject to change.By completing the transaction, you agree to the ToS, whether or not you actually read it, and you are subject to them by default.Being an artist is not my full-time job, please give some space when waiting for a commission. I will get back to every one of my customers. Since being an artist is not my full-time job, I do not have scheduled work times, and the completion of a commission relies fully on my spare time. Usual turn around time is roughly one month, if not stated or agreed upon otherwise. I usually work faster than this though.By commissioning me you will receive a digital illustration. No physical items or prints etc. will be shipped to the commissioner.REMINDERArt is a luxury good and should be purchased with consideration.
General information and requirements to commission me
My commissions are rarely first come first serve. This means I will pick whatever I feel comfortable working with. This does not necessarily have to do with ideas from my Will Not Draw Section (see Will Not Draw section below), but it's my own artistic preference. I choose what I feel confident working with to maximize the result. In case your commission was declined, I ask you to not take it personally but instead respect my comfort zone as an artist. Please take a look at my gallery to make sure what I have drawn before fits into what you are looking to commission me for. I will not change my art style to someone else’s. Please be aware that you are commissioning me for my art and my art style.I have the right to refuse a commission for any reason. By commissioning, the commissioner agrees to be of legal age (18 or older) to utilize PayPal and thus order NSFW artwork. Failure to abide can result in black-listing from commissioning again. To be able to work on a commission, I require a digitally drawn reference sheet of the character you want me to draw. An otherwise full body image of the character can be sufficient, depending on its quality. I reserve the right to charge a complexity fee if the reference provided is not of good quality for me to work with (low resolution image, markings hidden or unclear etc.).
Commission Process
In the following I will lay out the usual process of how I handle commissions, payments and edits up until the final completion of the artwork.Step 1Your inquiry for a commission can be made through contacting me through any of my socials. You may ask for a commission outside official commission openings, but I might not be able to accept your inquiry.Step 2After agreeing to working on your commission, I ask you to send over any required references. This includes your character reference (sheet) as well as a description of the scene/idea you’re looking for. You may provide similar artworks as a reference or link to them on safe websites. It is possible to commission me for artistic freedom artworks. This will mean that I will come up with an idea for you that fits the character’s personality best according to my evaluation. Be sure to describe your commission as best as possible, so that I can get the best possible idea of your preferred scene.I will not charge you at this point in time.Step 3Once I have all the information required, I will get started on your commission. I will sketch out a rough concept of the commission in question. Once the sketch is completed, it will be sent to the commissioner for approval. I will be asking you for payment at this stage. This means you will only have to pay once you have received a sketch. You may request any changes to the sketch at this point, but keep in mind that it will help me if you summarize all your requested edits in one message. Please take a thorough look at the sketch to spot any edits you want to request at the time.Up to 3 edits to the initial sketch are free of charge.Requesting several/repeated edits, especially after having revised the piece before and these edits could have been requested previously, may result in an additional fee. The fee is subject to my determination and depends on the complexity of the edit(s). The fee can range between 5 - 15 EUR.Step 4After you approved of the sketch after any potential edits, I will continue with lining the piece. Once the line art has been completed, it will be sent over to the commissioner for another approval before coloring.Once approval on the line art has been given by the commissioner, I will continue coloring the artwork.Flat colored commissions
After coloring, flat colored commissions will be sent out as completed artworks. You may request up to 2 minor edits at this time (such as corrections of markings etc.). After approval you will be given the full resolution file.Shaded commissions
After coloring, I will continue working on the shading without sending out any further WIPs. You may, however, request a WIP at any time. I will get back to you once shading has been completed. If you commissioned a background with your piece, I will only get back to you with the finished artwork and the background completed as well. Please take into consideration that shading the artwork and working on the background can take some time, as they are fairly time intensive for me.You may request up to 2 minor edits. After approval you will be given the full resolution file.
PaymentAll payments are in EUR. Please see my current price sheet for more information on my prices.Payment is made through PayPal. Payment is expected within 48 hours after requesting it, if not agreed upon otherwise. I may reserve the right to cancel a commission if you fail to pay the amount within this time frame.I reserve the right to refuse to work for commissioners who failed to pay on time in the past.By commissioning me the client agrees to have the required funds to pay for the full amount of the commissioned artwork.Tips are at the commissioner's discretion.By commissioning me you will get a digital piece of artwork. No physical items, prints etc. will be shipped to the commissioner.Refunds/CancellationsRefunds are not possible once the artwork has been completed. In any other stage, refunds are possible as follows:1) If the commission has not been started/a sketch hasn’t been sent and termination is requested, the client is subject to a full refund.2) If work has begun, the client is subject to a partial (50%) refund up to the lining and coloring stage. The client will receive the artwork with its current progression at the time of termination.3) Past this stage (lining and coloring) a full refund is no longer permitted. On a circumstantial basis refunds can be negotiated although I explicitly reserve the right to refuse negotiation for any reason.I reserve the right to cancel a commission for any reason during any stage of the commission on my behalf. In such case you will be refunded the full paid amount within two weeks after cancellation and you will receive any progress on your commission, if there is any.If the commission has been cancelled on behalf of the commissioner, I reserve the right to use the artwork with its progress for personal use or selling (YCH) if it's in the sketch phase.Usage/CopyrightI retain all copyrights to the artwork produced. You may not claim commissioned artwork as your own creation. By commissioning me, you do not obtain any copyright of the artwork. However, you obtain permission to use the artwork non-commercially.I may use any art I have produced for advertisements, examples, and/or publicity.Any artwork produced by me is not permitted to be altered or edited without permission.
Watermarks may not be edited/removed in any circumstance. My watermark may not be removed and used in any way.The commissioner is allowed to print the commissioned artwork for personal use. Any kind of commercial use or selling of the commissioned artwork is prohibited.Social MediaWhen posting the artwork on social media, the commissioner must give credit to me and link my account to any of my given socials accordingly. You may request that the commissioned artwork is not posted publicly free of charge (anonymous). However, you must notify me about this wish before work has begun.I reserve the right to determine whether or not to post artwork publicly when the commissioner has not opted for an anonymous commission (see above). This means that commissioned artwork may not be posted publicly in my gallery for any reason.
